bye bye ginormous caltrate pills and hello
tasty little caramel chews that I actually look forward to eating! They are nowhere like a caramel sundae topping but yummy enough in its own way. Storck used to make candy that tasted exactly like this. To me it kinda resembles the nougat centre of a 3 musketeers bar. I like that they are individually wrapped and easy to tuck into a pocket (doesn't melt) to take to work.
I like the new Viactiv
I liked the old Viativ just fine, but the new ones taste better to me and are softer. They melt easily in your mouth. The old ones stuck to my teeth. Keep the new ones as they are! Although, I do miss the vanilla....
"new" coconut flavor is nasty
I agree with so many that say we "Loved the old flavor" and "hate the new coconut flavor" on the caramel Viactiv chews. I won't be buying any more with this nasty flavor. Not only that, but now the Walmart brand has coconut oil...Walgreens will probably follow suit.

I have been taking viactiv for many years, due to a highly sensitive stomach etc. Never had a problem with them, until they changed the formula.
The big diff is the coconut oil. I called them and told them after giving them some info they promptly sent me a check it arrived in about 3 days. I am still looking for something that does not affect my IBS, hiatel hernia and will give me the bone support I need.
I even had blood work done for my calcium and D levels being they up'd the D too, and all was well taking 3 chews a day. So I know they work,,,I too want the old ingredients back. Have been suffering with stomach problems ever since. Hope they listen I suggest everyone call them, tell them at least you will get a check for what you paid for the new and improved yuck ones.
Found some at Walgreens that matches the old viactiv formula,,,will give them a try.
better tasting than regular calcium
It's ok - and a lot better than those big awful calcium pills. I am finally regularly taking calcium! These chews are convenient, tasty and easy (you get used to the flavor after a while). I hate taking those huge calcium pills - so usually I just don't bother. That's not good! So with these, I actually use them. They taste pretty good, not too many calories and I'm getting my calcium. Would love to try the other flavors, but you need more chews to get the minimum daily requirement - so am sticking with this flavor.
