Better than Expected!!!
This exact brand is in my very expensive neighborhood health store--12 oz. cost 19.99. So, I'm getting a great deal here and the taste is better than butter. I've used it in everything from oatmeal to sauteeing veggies. I will say that in the jar there is a very, very subtle coconut smell, but when combined with food there is none at all. In fact, my other oil is ghee--and as good as that is, I prefer the coconut oil. My husband who is funny about most things loves it too--he was especially crazy about the idea that he could have an oil that wouldn't raise his cholesterol and that actually aids your body rather than destroy it like most oils. I purchased this particular brand less than a month ago, and we love it so much that I've ordered another shipment with double the order.

it's good coconut oil...i purchased for help with keratosis pilaris.. hasn't exactly done the job.. makes skin feel nice but doesn't get rid of the redness.. i like it though
This stuff is great!
One minute I was searching for diet books and the next I was reading about coconut oil and placing my order. I didn't know you could cook with it and add it to your food. You can also use it on your skin but I think I'd rather eat it. Got my order today and immediately had to try it. Yummy is all I can say and I will definitely get the 54 oz jar as soon as I need some more. I also ordered the hemp seeds and they are also delicious. Thanks Nutiva and thanks Amazon for bringing these great products to my door!
Update. After consuming this awsome oil for just a few weeks I am completely satisfied. I have even started using it on my skin and I also use it on my face at night. Great stuff!
Coconut smell to much
The process of ordering was excelent as was the delivery.
Nutiva - Coconut Oil Organic Extra Virgin, 29 oz solid I do not like the smell when cooking with this oil. This oil also adds a coconut flavor to your cooking that I do not care for. I found "Spectrum Naturals - Coconut Oil Organic" to be a better choice for cooking no smell and no added flavor.
Great for hair!!
I use this as a hair moisturizer. I mix it with some water, and it makes my hair so soft and shiny. I would buy this item again, and it lasts a long time too :)
**I put this water, coconut oil mixture in a spritzer bottle.
